Hey, guys. This is my first fan fiction, so I hope you all enjoy it! ! Be sure to comment and give me any feedback! So for now, enjoy my first chapter! Oh, and Alexis is a real person. She's one of my best friends - and she was so excited when I told her I was putting her in this story!
"Alexis, we really need to go back," I begged my best friend.
"Quit being a spoil sport!" She cried, skipping a few feet ahead of me.
It was the middle of the night. Alexis had been staying the night when she decided she wanted to take a stroll through the park. At midnight. The last time she stayed over, she convinced me to sneak out to a night club. We got caught because Alexis couldn't stop laughing at my failed attempt to climb out of bedroom window. She was sent home, and I was grounded until just recently. It took a lot of convincing to get my parents to agree that she spend the night again.
Alexis claimed she wanted to take a simple walk through the park at night, but I knew the real reason. Her favorite band, One Direction, was in America for a bit. They were in our town right now, and it was everything I could do to not hear her gush about them every minute of the day. If she could talk in her sleep, I'm sure it would be all about One Direction. From what I've heard, all courtesy of Alexis, they were only here for a week or so to rest and relax before they were headed somewhere else on their tour. Now, don't get me wrong, I like a few of their songs, and I thinkk they are all very attractive. I'm just not a fangirl, or a "Directionor", as Alexis likes to call herself and fellow fans.
"Duck!" I heard someone yell.
I watched as a soceer ball sailed through the air and connected with Alexis' head. The ball rebounded off her face, making her fell off the path and into some bushes. I couldn't help myself; I started laughing. I kept laughing as she stood up, brushing dirt and leaves off of herself. There was a twig sticking in her hair at an odd angle that she seemed to be unaware of. The sight of it just made me laugh harder.
"What the hell are you laughing at?!" She fumed.
"Th- the- in your ha-. Oh god, I can't!" I put a hand against a tree to support myself as I doubled over in laughter.
"My hair? Is that what you're trying to say?" She questioned, turning her eyesight upwards as if she would be able to see what the problem was.
Alexis ran a hand through her hair, discovering the stick. She proceeded to throw said stick at me, which I dodged easily. Biting back laughter, I grabbed her hand and began to drag her back the way we came. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw someone jogging towards us, waving his arms frantically in the air. I looked down to see the soceer ball laying a few feet away from us. Not being one to go around meeting random people in a deserted park in the middle of the night, I ran at the ball and kicked it towards the stranger with all I had. My "all I had" must have been too much, because the ball collided with his stomach, knocking him down to the ground.
"Ah, shit." I muttered.
I looked over to see a gleam in Alexis' eyes. I knew now that I would have to go see if he was okay. She wouldn't let me leave until we walked over to the complete stranger to make sure I hadn't killed him. I could see the wheels spinning in her head as she thought of many different love stories that could amount from this little encounter.
"Let's go!" Alexis grabbed my hands and ran towards the fallen person.
She came to a dead stop a few feet away from the boy, making me run into her. I muttered a small string of curses, walking out in front of her. I looked back to give her a questioning look. She looked shocked. I cautiously looked towards the person on the ground who had just sat up. It only took a second to register who it was.
It was Niall Horan. From One Direction.
